What this site is

backtier.com publishes information about our AI visibility measurement and infrastructure work, along with research, definitions, and test records. Nothing on this site is an offer to contract, and nothing on it constitutes legal, financial, or regulatory advice.

Measurement material and its limits

AI systems are non-deterministic and change without notice. Any observation published here describes what a named platform returned for a named prompt on a stated date, and it may not reproduce. We do not guarantee that any AI system will cite, recommend, or accurately describe any brand, including our own. Where a page states a confidence level, a source, or a verification date, read the result within those limits. Our provenance and confidence standard explains how we tag claims, and our editorial policy explains how material is sourced and reviewed.

Intellectual property

The text, frameworks, definitions, and design of this site are owned by BackTier unless stated otherwise. You may quote from it with attribution and a link to the page you are quoting. You may not republish substantial portions, resell it, or present it as your own work. Datasets we publish for download carry their own licence statement on the page that hosts them; that licence governs their reuse.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages. Automated retrieval by search and AI crawlers is welcome within the limits set in our robots.txt.

Third-party links

We link to external sources, including platform documentation, publications, and podcast directories. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Corrections

If you believe something published here is inaccurate, tell us through our corrections page. We log substantive corrections publicly with the date and what changed.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BackTier is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or reliance on material published here. Client engagements are governed by their own written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms.
